School Formal and Upcoming November Haul!

Wowee, I can't believe that this year has gone by so fast! Last night I had my school formal, which was the last school event for the Year 12's of 2012 EVEEER! It was such a great night and one that will last in my memories forever. ヽ(；▽；)ノ

I got ready together with my two closest friends, and we did our makeup and hair together. Now, we are not the greatest at makeup so it involved a lot of experimenting, but I think we managed well in the end :D I wore a lovely purple dress which I got from Myer, and to be honest, I mainly chose it for the colour. 

My best friend wore the loveliest dress ever, which she got from Singapore! I was sooo in love with the colour of it! n___n Everyone looked so great on the night and it was so nice to see everyone in formal, snazzy clothes!

I ended up getting dragged on the dance floor when the macerena and Gangnam Style came on and man, dancing in heels is one of the hardest things EVER! (≧∇≦)/ 

We went back to my friends house for the night and our after party and went night swimming and man, it was so tiring. I ended up staying up all night so I was super dead the next day but it was totally worth it （＾_＾） 
Now today I am spending a relaxing day at home after a super busy week. 

My best friend also brought me back a lot of gifts from Singapore! A lot of these products I will do reviews on, so stay tuned! Haha, that sounded so lame xD

Supanovaaa!

So Supanova was on the weekend! Supanova is a pop culture convention and for the first time, it was held in Adelaide! And even better - Tom Felton was there! Ahhhh, I fangasmed so much when I saw him ;u; I could have gotten a photo with him but after a lot of consideration I decided not to since they were $50 each（；へ：)

But it was okay since the stars were still visible...during their signings I took some sneaky, terrible shots!

There was also Tom Hopper there from Merlin! I am a huuuge fan of Merlin so I was so excited when I heard someone from the cast was coming! 

As we went to go watch the wrestling that was on...Tom Hopper walked over and stood right near us to talk to some people! Ahh, it was so cool (‘∀’●)♡

Ahhh, it was so cool! Just seeing them made my day ;u; 
I didn't really get to take too many pictures of cosplayers though. I forgot about it completely until near the end of the day orz;

But yess, that was my Supanova day in a nutshell. I didn't cosplay for this event because I didn't prepare anything and I was kind of nervous to cosplay something alone since my best friend I normally cosplay with is in Singapore atm (´∩｀。)

Hair Chalk!

Hey guys! I know it's been ages since I last posted but I'm back now after successfully finishing year 12! Yaaay! (●´∀｀●)

I'm going to write about something that came in the mail for me today - hair chalk! I ordered this a while ago after seeing it on youtube. It's a temporary alternative to dip dying your hair, which is what I plan to do later on this year! I wasn't sure what colour to go though...which is why I decided to try out the hair chalk!  

So the hair chalk I ordered was pretty cheap at about $8 AUD for a pack of 12, which I got off of eBay. It looked like this:

The instructions to apply this was pretty simple. This is what you need

Some gloves to keep your hands from getting super colourful, a spray bottle of some sort to wet your hair, your hair chalk and a straightener, which seals in the heat! :D 

Okay, so here goesss

Ahhh so blurry :< But her you have to twist your hair and then wet it using the spray bottle. Then using the hair chalk, apply it downwards on your hair!

This is what happens when you touch your hair afterwards without gloves! ;A; 

So after you're done applying, you let the colour air dry and then seal in with the straightener! And this was the result!  (*´・ｖ・)

Now, as much as I loved the colour of this hair chalk and how quick and easy it was to apply, I could feel my hair dyinggg from the application. After applying, my hair felt really coarse and dry and it was really annoying to brush through. I also found that the colour kept staining my hands when I touched my hair which was really annoying. I'm not sure if this is the general way of all hair chalk or maybe just the kind that I bought but I feel that it's really hair damaging to apply :< 

I don't think this is something to apply regularly but it's super fun to have every once in a while when you want to change your hair! It comes out after one wash so it's super temporary (●´∀｀●) Personally, I don't think I will use it too often just because of the other effects it has on my hair but it was fun to try out and see whether the red and purple suited my hair! I think it looks alright, what about you guys? I am planning to dip dye my hair later on, so I will probably blog about it when I do  （＾_＾）
